Waxing do's and don'ts
Tips for beginners and even the most seasoned of waxers.
Before you wax with us avoid exposing the area to be waxed to UV rays for 24-48 hours beforehand.
After waxing, avoid:
- exposing the area to be waxed to UV rays for 24-48 hours
- swimming pools, the beach or other contact with soil for 24 hours
- friction in the waxed area. Don't use exfoliants for at least 24 hours
- tight fitting clothes, including panty-hose
- hot showers, baths or spas. You can have a cool shower if required.
- exercise or other activity that will cause you to perspire.
After waxing, use:
- a gentle antiseptic wash such as a tea-tree wash
- skin moisturizer specially formulated for use after waxing
- exfoliants for maintenance (only 24 hours after waxing)
